My integrative approach to therapy is customized to each client through trauma informed, strength-based, CBT and DBT work. Children often express themselves through behavior rather than words, and I use a variety of creative, play, and activity-based techniques to connect with my clients. I have worked with children ages 4 to 17 and their families in various levels of care over the last 7 years. I utilize my experience in Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs in my outpatient work and recognize the importance of developing coping skills and having a calm, safe environment to work through challenges. My goal is to help children and families learn more effective ways to manage difficult feelings, improve communication, and create stronger bonds.
